Se existe um nome que pode ser atribu\u00eddo ao quarteto Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/strong><\/span> \u00e9 cl\u00e1ssico. O som \u00e9 o rock cl\u00e1ssico, com guitarras estridentes, baixo pulsante e bateria martelada. O vocal \u00e9 cl\u00e1ssico, sujo e sem firulas. E o repert\u00f3rio n\u00e3o poderia ser diferente: s\u00f3 cl\u00e1ssicos. Um atr\u00e1s do outro. Formada nos anos 1960 por John Fogerty (guitarra e voz), Tom Fogerty (guitarra), Stu Cook (baixo) e Doug Clifford (bateria), a banda recebeu disco de ouro logo na estreia, em 1968, com um disco cl\u00e1ssico batizado somente com o pr\u00f3prio nome.\u00a0Susie Q<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(Eleanor Broadwater\/ Dale Hawkins\/ Stanley Lewis) e\u00a0I put a spell on you<\/strong><\/em> (Screamin’ Jay Hawkins) estavam presentes nessa largada. Da\u00ed seguiram outros sete discos, lan\u00e7ados at\u00e9 1973, todos com premiados com discos de ouro e\/ou platina. O jeit\u00e3o meio country dos quatro tamb\u00e9m se tornou cl\u00e1ssico e rendeu uma duradoura carreira solo para John Fogerty, que segue na ativa ainda hoje. Introduzidos no honroso Rock and Roll Hal of Fame em 1993, o Credence<\/strong> <\/span>ganha agora uma colet\u00e2nea reunindo 52 momentos de pura explos\u00e3o. Lan\u00e7ado pela Universal Music, Greatest Hits & All-Time Classics<\/strong><\/span> traz tr\u00eas discos, com cl\u00e1ssicos do tipo de Proud Mary<\/strong><\/em>, Good golly miss Molly<\/strong><\/em>, Have you ever seen the rain<\/strong><\/em> e I heard it through the grapevine<\/strong><\/em>. O terceiro disco traz 12 faixas ao vivo, gravadas entre 1970 e 1971, pescadas de projetos especiais. Pra completar,\u00a0Greatest Hits & All-Time Classics<\/strong><\/span> traz ainda um livreto de 20 p\u00e1ginas de foto e texto (todo em ingl\u00eas) com a indica\u00e7\u00e3o dos discos originais em que cada m\u00fasica foi lan\u00e7ada e posto m\u00e1ximo que cada uma delas ocupou nas paradas de sucesso.\u00a0Com uma ou outra balada espalhada pelo repert\u00f3rio, n\u00e3o foi a toa que o\u00a0Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/strong> <\/span>tornou-se uma das bandas de rock mais influentes da hist\u00f3ria.
