\"SayThatToSayThis\"<\/a><\/a>Desde que surgiu em festivais de m\u00fasica, Trombone Shorty<\/strong><\/span> – nome art\u00edstico de Troy Andrews – deixou claro que n\u00e3o queria limites est\u00e9ticos para sua m\u00fasica. Misturando jazz, funk, soul e algo caribenho, o m\u00fasico de 27 anos, nascido em New Orleans, aposta num som dan\u00e7ante, grooveado e virtuoso. E \u00e9 mais disso que ele traz em Say that to say this<\/strong><\/span> (Verve), seu novo disco, lan\u00e7ado no Brasil pela Universal. Produzido por Raphael Saadiq e pelo pr\u00f3prio Troy, o disco mistura faixas instrumentais com outras cantadas. A banda setentista de funk The Meters comparace numa releitura de Be my lady<\/strong><\/em>, lan\u00e7ada por eles em 1977, no disco New Directions<\/strong>. O resultado de Say that to say this<\/strong><\/span> \u00e9 acima da m\u00e9dia, mas tende a crescer ainda mais \u00e0 medida que Shorty<\/span> <\/strong>se apropriar do seu som. O groove \u00e9 bom, mas ainda leva um pouco mais de pimenta.<\/p>\n
